Hello everyone,

I am very happy to say, since Gabriel's fever and blood transfusion a few weeks ago he has been doing awesome. Gabriel goes to physical therapy once per month instead of weekly starting this month. He's reached all the goals his therapist set for him. We're keeping an appointment in case of regression. The knee injections have relieved Gabriel's leg pain from his Arthritis (JRA). Steven and I were shocked to learn Gabriel was telling us his knees were hurting to get out of chores (putting his toys where they belong, etc), or anything he did not want to do. We had a talk with him; he understands why it is important he tell us the truth.

We've started home schooling, which is going well. Gabriel was keeping up with Justin's lessons, so I have included him now. The boys have a special bond, I love watching them play and listening to them together. I've said this in previous emails; Justin's high energy has inspired Gabriel to want to stay active despite his ailments. Gabriel told me he's a boy not a baby. He's braver in the hospital; he's finally starting to talk a little. Justin has become more interested in Gabriel's exams; he wants to give Gabriel a check up with his doctors. Adrielle, she keeps me busy, she is tough. She makes her brothers cry, she tries to run the house. I am working with her.

Our family is doing well, we have our challenges and God helps us through them. God always sends us someone to encourage us and remind us God is with us. We are thankful for all of you. Thankful for your prayers...thank you.
